Statement of Research Ethics
This website was developed for research as well as teaching purposes. Visitors who participate in the site are also consenting to participate in the research.
If you create an account and sign up for login access, your submissions will be saved on the server. When you read a text, score it using the rubric, and then submit your score, it will be saved for your future visits to the site.
Your scores will also be made available anonymously to the researcher, Dr. Roberta Hammett. Your scores, averaged with other web users’ scores, will constitute research data.
